Today, I looked for Toki, the dog, and did homework. I visited with different friends throughout the day but mostly just did homework and looked for the dog. Natalie's kids were sick when I was over there and now I have a tickle in my throat and I'm achey. I sure do wish I had my mom here to give me medicine and bring me cold water. Of course I know how to do it myself, but there's nothing like getting to lie in bed while your mom takes care of you when you're sick. I love you, mom. I'll get that tax info to you as soon as I have it.

Cool Cacti and Signs

In the parking area there are two signs. We like to joke that the signs mean literally no shooting or camping "right there" but everywhere else is ok. So we won't camp by the no camping sign or shoot by the no shooting sign, but the rest of the area is good to go lol

the last one is the strongest prickly pear cactus I've ever seen :)

and here is some cool cacti from Nick's neighborhood. I saw them while I was walking around looking for the dog this morning. Last night when I got to Nick's house, the front door was open and both dogs were gone. One came back but we still have not found the other one :( but we will keep looking and hoping

this one looks purple :)

Hiking Around The Ruins

The three of us went hiking out by the ruins again and I did not lose my cell phone this time lol I did take some videos and pics though. First I'll show you the bench where I left my phone...

...and here is the bush we found it in. Here's something weird. The area where we found the phone is blurry in this picture...I wonder why...
...this is how the ground looks in this area that we are hiking. Most of what w are walking over and around is dirt filled with little rocks. This area, with a bunch of decent sized rocks for building, was probably someone's house...

Here is a picture of the plaque that shows an illustration of what the buildings probably looked like before time all but destroyed them.


Before we climbed up to the ruins we went off the trail quite a ways and found a nice area to sit and take a water break :)

here's Robby climbing in the fridge to get string cheese :) you might even here him say, "guess what, Jecca" ...that's one of his favorite phrases. Well, that and "watch this" :)

Today, I am the last minute babysitter for little Robby again. He is too cute. He thinks that when you say cheese the camera takes the picture so most of the time when we try to take his picture he says cheese while he's running around or he just says cheese and runs off hahaha :)

Mike and I went to Kimi's house for lunch and to change the oil in her scooter :) We had baked eggplant with onions and "mashed" cauliflower...delicious :) We almost had the scooter running, but we were missing a specific screw. Kimi went to the store after we were done and got the right screw, hopefully. Eventually, we'll know if it still works lol it worked before we started changing the oil several months ago hahahaha

and then I went to the grocery store and we cooked dinner together :) We made asparagus wrapped in prociuto, fried potatoes, pork chops, and spicy quacamole. It was all delicious :)

Today, I spent the day with Tracy, Tory, and little Elijah. Elijah is Tory and Kylie's son that was born Jan 14th of this year. Here's a video of him bouncing around while we play Mario :)

Going to PHX

Since PRC was so dismal I decided to take a ride down to phoenix and hang out with my friend's kid sister, who is also my friend. We went to a hookah bar and enjoyed the flavor, Blue Mist, and went to a chinese place called the Chinese Rainbow and I ordered Kung Poa Chicken with Shrimp fried rice :) Mmmm...Mmmm...delicious

here I am sideways (still learning everything my phone can do) lol it cannot turn a video upright if it is recorded sideways hahahaha

Well we had three glorious days of sunshine and nice warmish weather and then we got three days of dismal rain/snow that left us with mud :( but one of the cool things about PRC is that you can see several different weather systems in the sky...here is my drive home and an example...

My Messy Car and Outside of My House

Well I never did get around to cleaning today. LOL I had plenty of other distractions. I went grocery shopping with Kimi, finally heard from my friend, Anthony, and spent some time catching up with him...and I literally spent the rest of my time sitting in front of this computer getting my homework done that was due today by 10pm and I turned it in at 9:58pm. Well, I'm loading this video of my messy car and the outside of my house, since you haven't seen it, and then I'm heading over to Mike and Natalie's and possibly over to a friends for some late night convo. I've been stuck in front of this computer for too long! I'm gonna start next sunday's homework tomorrow so that I don't have to sit in front of the computer for 7 hours every Sunday. This sucks! I love you, mom.

These are some pics of me and Midnight playing in my room. LOL she would not sit still!

My messy room :) Today, my focus is homework. Of course it is! lol Because it's due on Sunday every week! And since I like to clean to procrastinate when I have homework due I thought I'd show you my messy room and then later today I'll take another video of my clean room. Today I'll be doing laundry, changing my sheets, changing the litter, vacuuming, and loading up my car with stuff to take to Salvation Army. Oh, my car's a mess too lol I'll post a pic/vid of that as well. Yay!! One more thing to distract me from homework :)
